Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

Introduction

WebhookHub is a webhook inspection and debugging service provided by Max MacFarlane, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The service

WebhookHub provides:

  • Unique webhook endpoint URLs for receiving HTTP requests
  • Real-time inspection of incoming webhook request data (method, headers, body, query parameters)
  • Forwarding and replaying captured requests to destination URLs
  • Persistent request history (duration depends on your plan)

The service is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability.

Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • One person per account — accounts are not transferable.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Plans and billing

Free plan

  • 3 endpoints, 600 requests per month, 5 forwards per month
  • 1 day rolling request history
  • No bulk delete

Indie plan (£9.99/month)

  • 10 endpoints, 25,000 requests per month, 500 forwards per month
  • 30 days request history
  • Bulk delete available
  • 7-day free trial on first subscription

Pro plan (£29/month)

  • 50 endpoints, 500,000 requests per month, unlimited forwards
  • 90 days request history
  • Bulk delete available
  • 7-day free trial on first subscription

All billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store payment card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled. You can manage your subscription (upgrade, downgrade, cancel) through the billing page or Stripe customer portal.

If you exceed your plan limits, additional requests will be dropped — not queued or billed. They are simply not processed. You will not be charged overage fees.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers. Price changes do not affect the current billing period.

Refund policy

  • If you're not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment directly from the billing page — no questions asked.
  • Refunds are not available after the 7-day window.
  • Trial periods do not require payment and therefore are not eligible for refunds.
  • Refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use WebhookHub to send, receive, or store illegal content
  • Use the service to relay malware, phishing payloads, or other malicious content through webhook endpoints or the forwarding feature
  • Attempt to circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or other usage restrictions
  • Use automated systems to create multiple free accounts to avoid paying for a higher plan
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service or attempt to gain unauthorised access
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service for other users
  • Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable law

Webhook request data sent to your endpoints may contain sensitive information from third-party services. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to receive and inspect that data. WebhookHub stores what is sent to your endpoints but does not monitor or filter the content of webhook payloads.

Data and retention

  • Free plan: Webhook request data is not stored persistently. Requests are received and displayed in real time only.
  • Indie plan: Request data is retained for 30 days.
  • Pro plan: Request data is retained for 90 days.

When data exceeds its retention period, it is automatically and permanently deleted. If your subscription ends, your data will be purged after a grace period. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data including endpoints, requests, and forwards.

For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

Forwarding and replaying requests

  • When you forward or replay a request, WebhookHub sends the captured request data to the destination URL you specify.
  • You are solely responsible for the destination URLs you forward to.
  • WebhookHub is not responsible for what happens to data once it leaves our servers via forwarding.
  • Forwarding respects your plan's forward limits.
  • Forward responses are captured and stored alongside the original request, subject to the same retention policy.
  • Response bodies from forwarded requests are truncated at 100,000 characters.

Intellectual property

  • WebhookHub and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Max MacFarlane.
  • Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership over webhook request data sent to your endpoints.
  • You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the service.

Limitation of liability

  • WebhookHub is a debugging and inspection tool, not a production message broker or guaranteed delivery service.
  • We are not liable for any losses arising from reliance on the service for production webhook routing.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Service modifications

  • We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the service at any time.
  • Material changes that negatively affect paid users will be communicated with reasonable notice.
  • Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Termination

  • You can close your account at any time from the profile page. This cancels any active subscription and deletes all your data.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where practical.
  • On termination, your right to use the service ends immediately.
  • Sections that should survive termination (liability, intellectual property, governing law) continue to apply.

Governing law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
  • We'll try to resolve disputes informally first — contact support@webhookhub.dev before escalating.
